My love for embroidery all started when I was in the 6th grade. Originally influenced by a family friend to pick up sewing, I had no clue what the hobby would turn into. After buying my first one-needle embroidery machine off of Amazon, to a year later driving nonstop to Chicago for my fifteen-needle beauty, which is still running to this day. I was young and unsure of the potential I had. I would do little projects here and there but never truly found a passion or niche that I thought best represented me.
So what is btchez.get.stitchez? In the Spring of 2020, my senior year of high school got cut short, and I found myself with too much time on my hands. My neighbor left me with plain denim jacket that she had wanted “jazzed” up. A project I had put aside for over 3 months, which eventually sparked a passion, and a trendy take on embroidery.
